LOREN BLACK | Account Director
Loren’s background is in marketing and media. She's experienced in creating strategic integrated programs to help clients across a broad spectrum of categories communicate with key audiences.
At brands such as In Style, Fortune, and Conde’ Nast Traveler, Loren has helped advertisers tell stories that foster awareness and guide consumer behavior. Sectors she’s managed include food, beverage & spirits; finance; technology; packaged goods; home furnishings and more.
While in college, Loren interned with the Manhattan District Attorney as a social services liaison with crime victims. There she discovered that life is full of blurred lines, and became committed to positive social impact.
In her corporate work Loren has always sought opportunity to benefit communities-in-need, when possible. This has facilitated client partnerships with cause-related organizations in healthcare, the environment, and family services.
Since 2006 Loren has sat on the board of Opening Act, an innovative arts-in-education nonprofit. Opening Act’s high quality and free after-school theater programming provides NYC’s most under-served high school students with the skills and safe space necessary to gain confidence, become leaders, and learn that they can succeed at anything in life.
Loren also spent many years as a Good Dog Foundation team member, partnering with her Havanese pup, Willy, visiting the homebound elderly.
Loren has a BA in Psychology from SUNY Oneonta. She and Willy currently live in NYC.
