Iesha Townsend is the Senior Manager of Operations at McPherson Strategies, where she oversees the implementation of systems and processes that increase the firm's efficiency. With over eight years of non-profit management experience, Iesha brings a wealth of knowledge regarding system development, change management, lean agile best practices, and program development.
Prior to joining McPherson Strategies, Iesha served as the Senior Manager of Admissions for an education non-profit, where she oversaw program design and the implementation of candidate cultivation strategies within recruitment. Iesha recognizes the power of operational systems that support the growth and sustainability of a firm. Her career is highlighted by building successful programs from the ground up into sustainable systems that continue to run smoothly.
Iesha welcomes challenges and enjoys learning new concepts. She is deeply committed to issues relating to youth empowerment, ethnic minority rights, equity, and diversity.
Iesha holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Psychology from Smith College and a Master of Science degree in Politics of Conflict, Rights, and Justice from the School of Oriental African Studies (SOAS), University of London.
